Determinants of Causal Attributions of Homelessness in Croatia

Homelessness is one of the most difficult social issues, and people who have experienced homelessness are often exposed to stigmatisation negative public perception. Public perception homeless also depends on how citizens interpret what they attribute causes to. Therefore, this paper aimed at verifying causal attributions based Weiner’s three-dimensional attribution model. The aim research was examine determinants regarding certain sociodemographic socioeconomic characteristics attitudes towards people. conducted a representative sample Republic Croatia (n=1 010). results showed that, average, mostly factors related circumstances person’s life broader context.
